It is with solemn eyes and a turning stomach, that I watch the newest American president take the stage. No- I don’t like him. This is the man in charge of the FREE world? I couldn’t help but notice the 3 billionaires sitting in front-row seats to the inauguration of their bought president.

Throughout American history, politicians have always been bought. Sadly money is the mover and shaker. I can’t help but notice now though the money is the politician. There is no separation anymore. So, what are we to hope for? I hope that these rich men have humanity. I hope they have an inkling of compassion and enough desire to uplift the people of the United States. How is this the free world when you have to pay to establish freedom?

What am I to do? How can I influence anything? I don’t have billions of dollars, but I do have my brain. I have the thoughts and passion to further develop my education. I have the hope of making sense of what’s happening for those that can’t make sense of it themselves. Through education, I can find a reason for these billionaires to be put out of office. I can find a way to actually make America great.
