It’s been a min

Ugh. 7 days without writing. A whole week. It’s not that I didn’t want to, I just didn’t actively decide to open squarespace and add a new blog post.

I’ve shared with a creative regular at the coffee shop that I started a blog, and he asked me about it today. Ashamed, I admitted I haven’t written in a minute. He told me don’t wait too long.

So, here I am. I was just scrolling TikTok and it can be so depressing. It takes a lot of effort to not sink into a place of hopelessness. I think that’s on purpose though. One of my favorite philosophies is the law of manifestation. What you think is what you attract. If you consume nothing but bad news and hurt you will find it in your reality often. I have to make the conscious decision to focus on the good.

The good today is interacting with new customers headed on their walk of the entire island of Manhattan, the creative regular working on their comic book, the other regulars who always order a cortado and espresso. Human interaction is a good for today. I also played a couple of games of ping-pong with my fiancé. And now, I am writing a blog post. A good day indeed.
